Decided to try my hand at a 10k today just for fun had never done it before. dropped the drag to 95 and set the pace boat for 2:30
each 1000m i did a power 10 and I did power 20’s at 2k and the last 250m
just glad i finished!

They are a horrible distance because they just go on and on.
I wouldn't have recommended dropping the drag that much, but I get your thinking.
120 would probably have been enough. Maybe 115.
You paced it well. Power 10s are a great idea, to keep the interest of nothing else, and you spend up in the last 3k, which shows you've more in you.
Now, tell us the differences you felt with the drag at 95? Did it impact getting the power down in the power 10s?
I was worried about Long row high drag but having done it I left something on the table early on and a slightly higher drag would have helped. Yes it went on and on and the power 10s helped if nothing else with breaking it up and keeping it interesting!

Aimed 1:55s on the 2ks and 1:50 on the sprints.
Not hard pace wise but a bit sloppy with the control
